Ampsight is seeking an experienced and dynamic Cleared Cloud Solutions Consultant to join our team, out of our Sterling, Va office. In this role, you will serve as the primary interface between our federal clients, delivery, and internal cloud architecture teams, ensuring that the solutions we propose are tailored to meet client needs and align with our technical capabilities. Your role will involve understanding client business challenges, recommending high-level cloud strategies, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with clients, delivery, and sales teams to understand client requirements, goals, and technical challenges.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by presenting cloud-based solutions and strategies that align with their objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal cloud architects to translate client needs into detailed technical requirements.
  • Support the sales team in pre-sales activities, including proposal development, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and internal technical teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Provide input on solution design, ensuring alignment with client expectations and technical feasibility.
  • Stay updated on cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices to provide innovative and forward-thinking solutions.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and uncover additional business opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure, systems integration, and Enterprise deployments.
  • Proven experience in migrating and integrating complex enterprise systems to cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security principles, compliance, and data protection.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect) preferred.


Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in cloud architecture or engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure, systems integration, and large-scale deployments.
  • Proven experience in migrating and integrating complex enterprise systems to cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security principles, compliance, and data protection.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect) preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Active Top Secret (SCI Eligible) security clearance required.
