Sr Cloud Solutions Architect

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple security domains (IL5 to IL6+). In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping cloud strategies, ensuring security and compliance, and optimizing performance for mission-critical systems.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple classification levels (IL5 to IL6+).
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures using modern technologies like microservices, serverless computing, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ensure cloud security best practices and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud solutions with business and technical requirements.
• Utilize Python, Java, or JavaScript for automation and scripting.
• Communicate complex cloud architectures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure challenges with innovative solutions.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience in cloud solution architecture, with a focus on AWS infrastructure at scale.
• Expertise in designing and managing cloud environments across multiple classification levels (IL5 to IL6+).
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript for scripting and automation.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Current certifications meeting 8140/8570 standards (e.g., Security+ or higher).
• Active TS//SCI clearance with CI poly.

Bonus Points

• Experience leading Agile development teams.
• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
• Familiarity with low-to-high development models and associated tooling.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
