Physical Security SME

Key Role:

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working in the security field
• 5+ years of experience working on DoD physical security at the program management level
• 5+ years of experience as a Physical Access Control System or Defense Biometrics Identification System Base Security Officer with installation and multiple base systems management
• Experience modifying base profiles, assigning and modifying Force Protection C ond itions ( FPCON ) , maintaining access areas, perimeters, and access control points, modifying credential category settings through base profiles, and assigning operator roles
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• DoD Security Professional Education Development ( SPeD ) Physical Security Certification ( PSC ) and Conventional Physical Security or Crime Prevention Certification
• Completion of a United States Army Military Police School Course, Director of National Intelligence: ICD 705 Secret Compartmented Information Facilities ( SCIF ) Design Course, or U.S. Army Corps of Engineers: Electronic Security System Design Course
• Completion of Anti- Terror ism Officer Level II, and Space and Naval Warfare Systems: Electronic Security Systems Administrator Courses

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with DoD and USMC installation access control policy , guidance, procedures, and systems
• Experience with law enforcement operations related to access control
• Knowledge of security principles related to access control, physical and electronic security systems or security requirements, and server-based systems integration
• Knowledge of the Program Objective Memorandum ( POM ) budget and funding process
• Knowledge of the funding process asso cia ted with project lifecycle cost management principles, including inventory management and life cycle replacement of equipment
• Knowledge of system-from-data-source-ops employment
• Knowledge of Micro sof t Windows, Micro sof t Office sof tware, and PACS or DBIDS, including the acquisition process for PACS or DBIDS systems
• Knowledge of basic troubleshooting fundamentals for logical and physical systems
• Ability to run required reports, analyze, collate, combine, or extract data to identify patterns, recognize shortfalls, or develop recommended courses of action
• Ability to track equipment status and c ond uct trend analysis for action at the installation, regional, and enterprise levels

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
