Syntelligent is seeking a full-time Cloud Engineer to support upcoming/contingent work at USSTRATCOM/J61.

Location: Offutt AFB, NE

Schedule: Day/ M-F

Anticipated Salary Range:

Duties will include:

• Analyze technical requirements to determine cloud feasibility and recommend best-fit cloud solutions.
• Design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure for secure application and data onboarding/offboarding.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls to ensure compliance with DoD cloud security mandates.
• Automate cloud functions, platform operations, and performance monitoring for efficiency and scalability.
• Support acquisition, deployment, and sustainment of cloud services while ensuring mission readiness.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as an IT Systems Engineer (SE).
• Experience must include: Requirements Tradeoff, Cost Estimation, Technical Assessments, Technical Planning, Configuration Control Boards, Capabilities Based Assessments, Integrated Baseline Review, Lifecycle Sustainment Planning, Information Assurance / Cybersecurity, Requirements Traceability, Systems Engineering Plan, Work Breakdown Structure, Technical Audits
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience or documented training in designing, deploying, and maintaining systems and capabilities
• Must be able to obtain certification meeting 8140 series requirements within 6-months of notification
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience demonstrating written and oral communication skills including developing and presenting complex written products and oral briefings to senior leaders at the O-6/GS-15 level or higher
• Shall have Senior-level specialized knowledge, skillsets, and experience with technical requirements analysis to determine cloud feasibility, engineering analysis and selection of best-fit cloud solutions, acquisition of cloud services, designing, building, and preparing cloud infrastructure for on-boarding / off-boarding of applications and data, monitoring and optimizing performance, automating cloud functions and platforms, and ensuring cybersecurity requirements are enabled and monitored.

Substitutions for experience:

• A Master's degree in engineering discipline or Computer Science can substitute for three (3) years of experience.
• A Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or Computer Science can substitute for one (1) year of experience.

Clearance: Top Secret (TS) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
