Program Overview

About The Role

Peraton is seeking an experienced systems Site Systems Administrator to join our national intelligence program that delivers engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client's global missions.

The Site Systems Administrator will have an emphasis on Enterprise Services and Active Directory.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement, monitor and maintain Active Directory design, schema, replication topology and backup/ restore procedures.
  • Perform Active Directory administration and management to include design, maintenance, and configuration.
  • Ensure the integrity, security and efficiency of network authentication and authorization systems.
  • Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
  • Monitor and manage enterprise system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
  • Perform Windows, Server and Active Directory services.
  • Assess and remediate the enterprise design and implementation to mitigate cybersecurity risks.
  • Perform systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
  • Configure operating systems and supports enterprise servers.
  • Install and configure database and application software.
  • Perform database backups and system restoration, monitor database performance, and perform troubleshooting.
  • Interact with users and interfacing applications.
  • Provide hardware and software backup recovery.
  • Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tune system performance, installing system wide software, and allocating mass storage space.
  • Develop, implement and maintain processes, procedures, test cases, test results, issue resolutions, performance analysis, and user guidelines/ instructions documentation.
  • 10% Travel may be required within the National Capital Region (NCR) on an as needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.

**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to pass a counter-intelligence scope (CI) Poly clearances.
  • Minimum of 12 years relevant experience with bachelor's degree or 10 with a master's or 7 with PhD.
  • Current CISSP or Security + Certification.
  • Proven experience working with a large enterprise distributed computing environment.
  • Experience with Systems Administration of Windows Server and Operating system, Unix, or Linux and/or database skillset.
  • Proficient in Performing snapshots, disaster recovery, performance tuning, Installation, hardening and patching.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and Tier 1 communication skills.
  • Experience developing and maintaining critical documentation (SIPs, SAGs, SOPs, Getting started guides).

Desired Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearances.
  • Other DoD 8570.01-M IAT I or DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification.
  • Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) architecture and cryptography such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and/or Transport Layer Security (TLS).

Security Clearance:

This Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a CI Poly, US Citizenship is required to hold this clearance.

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
