The Garrett Group is seeking a highly qualified a Junior Special Security Representatives (CSSR) - Physical Security to support security operations and compliance within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). The CSSR will be responsible for assisting in all facets of a SCI program, ensuring adherence to security policies, maintaining SCIF accreditations, and managing personnel security clearances.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in physical, personnel, information, and industrial security functions within a SCI program.
- Implement and enforce security standards, including DIA SCIF accreditation and TEMPEST requirements for classified systems.
- Provide security office services, ensuring personnel meet and maintain all security clearance requirements.
- Support security programs such as Periodic Reinvestigation Program, Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and Access Control System (ACS).
- Manage personnel access, visitor control, and clearance verifications in databases such as DISS, Scattered Castles, and SCIBS.
- Maintain and oversee SCIF accreditation compliance, including geographically separated SCIFs.
Required Qualifications:
Security Clearance & Background:
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Must have completed a Tier 5 (T5) investigation or SSBI.
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in physical security, anti-terrorism, force protection, or security operations.
- Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, security inspections, and risk analysis.
- Knowledge of DoD security policies and regulations, including:
- DoD 5200.08-R (Physical Security Program)
- UFC 4-010-01 (DoD Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings)
Skills & Knowledge:
- Physical Security & Systems:
- Access Control Systems (ACS) and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
- CCTV monitoring, alarm systems, fencing, and locking mechanisms
- Facility Security & Risk Assessments:
- Conducting threat and vulnerability assessments (TVAs)
- Implementing security procedures for sensitive DoD facilities
- Ensuring ICD 705 compliance for SCIF construction
- Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge:
- National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
- DoD Directive 5200.08-R (Physical Security Program)
- Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) standards
- Incident Response & Security Enforcement:
- Investigating security breaches and unauthorized access incidents
- Coordinating with law enforcement, military police, or emergency response teams
- Developing and delivering security training programs
Preferred Certifications (Optional but Beneficial):
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) - ASIS International
- Physical Security Professional (PSP) Certified Anti-Terrorism Specialist (CAS)
- DoD Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, homeland security, security management, or related field preferred (equivalent experience may be accepted).
Additional Information:
- Travel may be required depending on SCIF locations.
- Must be able to work in a high-security environment and follow classified information handling protocols.
- Salary 85K-95K year.
