Job Description
SSDS Engineering Support
Seeking an energetic Engineer to join our team to work in the development and integration of the SSDS system and interface with weapons and combat systems. The candidate will become part of an exciting team of engineers working to develop and perfect a complex computer system for the United States Navy. Responsible for developing solutions at field locations and lab environment for SSDS.
Responsibilities include-

Must have an active final DoD
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project and Visio to the intermediate level.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Highly desired education/skills/experience:
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar degree
Experience with SSDS, project management skills, background in technical writing, experience in developing potential solution matrices to complex CS issues with associated risk analysis, and skill with the Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project and Visio to the intermediate level.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $77809 - $132275
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

SSDS Engineering Support
Seeking an energetic Engineer to join our team to work in the development and integration of the SSDS system and interface with weapons and combat systems. The candidate will become part of an exciting team of engineers working to develop and perfect a complex computer system for the United States Navy. Responsible for developing solutions at field locations and lab environment for SSDS.
Responsibilities include-
- Provide SSDS hardware support for installation, integration, and checkout of SSDS lab hardware at the PMAT, San Diego lab
- Provide ILS support in trouble reporting, procurement of replacement parts from govt, and return to govt of failed components
- Provide hardware support for SSDS Software testing events at PMAT, San Diego SSDS lab
- Support design and development of site-specific alterations to existing combat systems to include installation, integration, interface, and activation of new equipment with existing equipment or systems
- Assist PMAT personnel with SSDS lab configuration management
- Provide element integration of equipment and computer programs
- Conduct review and generation of interface control diagrams to validate installation and operational objectives
- Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks
- Develop and recommend procedures and methods
- Prepares technical reports and documentation
- Performs technical evaluations of events to determine root cause and recommend corrective action
- Document findings and generate reports for lessons learned and improvements to processes
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Must have an active final DoD
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the technology industry.
- Experience with reading, creating, and editing shipboard drawings.
- SSDS related experience.
- Experience in developing potential solution matrices to complex CS issues with associated risk analysis,
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project and Visio to the intermediate level.
