Omitron is seeking Technical Support Specialists to support operations at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to end-users by resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a secure, mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate will provide front-line support, perform system maintenance, and contribute to user training and documentation, while ensuring compliance with security standards. This position supports a classified DoD customer and requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues via phone, email, chat, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user problems; escalate complex issues as needed.
- Support software installations, updates, and system configurations.
- Maintain and monitor systems to ensure performance and security.
- Track and manage support tickets; prioritize based on urgency and business impact.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and knowledge base articles.
- Assist users with technical training and best practices to prevent future issues.
- Set up and configure new hardware and software, resolving any compatibility issues.
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks, backups, and data recovery.
- Ensure system security and compliance by applying updates and adhering to protocols.
- Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with users.
- Generate reports on recurring issues and support metrics to enhance service quality.
Minimum Requirements:
- US Citizenship required
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI
- Experience: 1-5 years of relevant technical support experience
- Certifications: One or more of the following:
- CCNA Security
- CySA+
- GICSP
- GSEC
- Security+ CE
- SSCP
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience: Experience in DoD or secure environments providing technical user support
- Certifications: Multiple or advanced certifications from the list above
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $125,000, depending on relevant experience, location, and other factors.
