Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Collaborates with Facilities Director to develop systems and procedures for facility maintenance and security; establishes and maintains budgets, standards, adequate staffing levels, and schedules.
  • Installs proper security, fire equipment, and monitoring measures.
  • Interviews and selects personnel for assignments, provides training and development, and maintains clear and concise work standards and goals.
  • Completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counseling, and takes corrective action as necessary.
  • Manages regional buildings including capital projects, build-outs, moves, adds, changes and maintenance, ensuring smooth completion.
  • Provides recommendations to Facilities Director for improvements to existing operations.
  • Works with and obtains consensus among local office management to determine best current utilization of an office and its future requirements.
  • Provides moving, furniture, and infrastructure planning and implementation.
  • Serves as prime liaison with building management and maintenance for more than one office location.
  • Serves as primary employee point of contact for all facilities related issues for more than one office location.
  • Assigns work to employees; oversees and tracks work assignments to completion.
  • Collaborates with other assigned Business Unit support functions (Repro/IS/Security).
  • Provides input to annual budget; may administer the department merit budget.
  • Acts as Security/Emergency Coordinator, supporting office business continuity plan (Safety coordination if Safety is not represented on site) and maintains local evacuation plans for emergencies.
  • Encourages safe and secure work environment and practices.
  • Manages maintenance of AEDs (Automated External Defibrillator), fire extinguishers and first aid supplies; acts as member of Office Safety Committee.
  • Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent)
  • 10+ years of related experience in facility management


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) preferred
