Day to day tasking may include:
- Work in a corroborative team environment while supporting planning and overseeing research, development, design, manufacture, test, installation, operations, and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems and generally as a member of a design, analysis, or review team.
- Provide guidance and solutions to resolve complex problems and issues that arise in troubleshooting complex systems such as Irradiators and Accelerator type machines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, or physics.
- Ability to learn and understand nuclear physics related to electron, gamma-ray, and neutron behavior on solid state electronic components
- Ability to communicate to broad audiences both technical and non-technical information
- Ability to be a team player and receive mentoring from senior engineers and leadership
- Working knowledge of various electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeter, SMUs, etc.)
- Technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex problems
- Understanding, familiarity and/or experience with microelectronics devices, LabVIEW, Altium, Printed Circuit Board (PCBs)
- Aptitude for solving technical problems and creating customer solutions
- Understanding of concepts, theories, and methods related to the composition, structure, and properties of microelectronics
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance (Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a US Secret clearance)
