Facilities Engineer

We are seeking a Facilities Engineer to serve as the primary focal point for facility improvement projects. This role is crucial in representing our capabilities and contributing to solving complex challenges and advancing human discoveries.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage facility improvement projects, including renovations, expansions, and equipment installations, from conception to completion.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
• Gather and analyze data regarding facility specifications, regulatory requirements, and construction feasibility.
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering firms to establish design criteria and prepare detailed layout drawings.
• Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facility acquisitions, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Plan, design, and oversee the reconfiguration, maintenance, and enhancement of our facilities.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, implement safety protocols, and ensure employee training in safety procedures.
• Inspect construction and installation progress, ensuring adherence to established designs, specifications, and timelines.

Required Skills:

• Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance (To obtain a clearance candidate must be a U.S. Citizen)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Construction Project Management.
• 2 years of experience with AutoCAD.
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft Project.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use digital measuring devices.

Candidates must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
