Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for Integrated Master Scheduler role to work in our San Antonio, TX office. Primary Responsibilities
- SME-level utilization of program management tools to identify and track key program milestones across multiple programs including contract deliverables
- Maintaining planned schedules for multiple program teams
- Assessing a variety of program metrics and providing reports to Program Managers to ensure support requirements and objectives are being met
- Participating in special projects as required
- Responsible for applying scheduling theory to develop and maintain a resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as the basis for the Integrated Defensive Cyber System (IDCS).
- Implement program scheduling business rhythms, developing baseline schedules and associated artifacts to meet contractual/project requirements, and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule
- Generate, publish and maintain an accurate Master Schedule, showing the tasks and resources required to deliver on-time, per customer requirements and milestones
- Work closely with multiple industry and government performers to develop detailed schedules, keep these schedules current and seamlessly integrated into the Master Schedule.
- Develop and maintain linkages, dependencies and inter-dependencies with related projects.
- Ensure internal and external dependencies are documented and tracked for risk management.
- Identify major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle and other project events.
- Identify critical path and task dependencies.
- Set and maintain the baseline schedule and track changes to the baselined schedule on a weekly basis.
- Perform ‘what if’ scenarios within the schedule.
- Develop schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures and ensure they are followed during the development and maintenance of schedules.
- Perform schedule estimating through elicitation of team members and other stakeholders to capture estimations of new work, updated actuals and remaining work.
- Champion and support continuous Risk Mitigation and Issue Management through schedule analysis.
- Generate schedule reports based on planned vs actual work.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires BS and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional areas to identify, manage, and maintain all schedule tasks and dependencies.
- Extensive experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development, including facilitating meetings and working one-on-one to define project activities, resource requirements, predecessors/successors, milestones, and potential impacts.
- Strong proficiency in MS Project and/or other scheduling tools such as MS Project Server or Deltek Open Plan.
- Deep understanding of scheduling theory and best practices, including familiarity with industry standards such as the Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG).
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining IMS architecture based on Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) or Integrated Master Plans (IMP).
- Solid working knowledge of Critical Path Methodology and its practical application in schedule analysis and forecasting.
- Experience in baseline change control processes and IMS configuration management.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the development and maintenance of the Master Schedule.
- Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting Air Force Cyber or USCYBERCOM
- Prior experience with defensive cyber
- Prior experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project
