Overview
Abacus Technology is seeking a Web Developer to provide software support for the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) at Quantico. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
5+ years experience in developing web application front ends, supporting the full life cycle for implementing web-based systems, and with Oracle Application Express (APEX) programming. Bachelor's degree in a related field desired. Must be Security+ certified (or hold a similar certification in compliance with DoD 8140 IAT Level II). Oracle APEX certification a plus. Must have extensive experience with Oracle APEX ver 4 and 5. Experience coding in HTML, JavaScript, and knowledge of JavaScript based frameworks. Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and data relationships. Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, CSS, jQuery, and .NET. Experience in a law enforcement environment desired. Must have strong communication skills and be able to work independently and with a team. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).

Responsibilities
- Administer, develop, and test web-based applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).
- Write, test, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle APEX applications, databases, and environments.
- Stay up to date with new Oracle APEX features and best practices.
- Modify previously written source code to add enhancements, fix problems, and make changes to ensure compatibility with current security and other configuration requirements.
- Design, build, test, implement, and maintain software applications for AFOSI.
- Ensure that all application deliverables and systems comply with applicable DISA STIGs or Security Requirements Guidance.
- Maintain and bug fix web-based applications based on a mix of languages (.NET, HTML, CSS, Java, C#, PowerShell).
- Ensure code is written in compliance with all pertinent DoD security guidelines.
- Manage the configuration of all software code to ensure baselines are established, changes are tracked and logged, and synchronization between source code and executable code.
- Design, develop, and maintain websites with guidance provided by AFOSI PM on functionality, content, ease of use, continuity between networks, and aesthetic suitability.
