Job Brief:
We are seeking an experienced Synthetic Chemist with a strong foundation in organic chemistry, who also brings a significant understanding of biochemistry, particularly in DNA, RNA, enzyme, antibody, and antigen chemistry. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading complex organic synthesis projects while contributing their biochemical expertise to multidisciplinary research efforts. A Master's or Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry is preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
• Lead synthetic chemistry projects, designing and executing complex organic synthesis experiments to develop novel compounds.
• Apply biochemistry knowledge to projects involving DNA, RNA, enzymes, antibodies, and antigens, ensuring effective integration of synthetic chemistry with biochemical processes.
• Utilize experimental design software, such as Design Expert, to plan and optimize experiments.
• Engage in formulation chemistry, developing and testing chemical formulations for various applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on diverse projects, adapting to different research needs and contributing biochemistry expertise.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of experimental procedures, results, and analyses.
• Stay updated on current advancements in both synthetic chemistry and biochemistry, integrating new techniques and findings into ongoing projects.

Requirements:
• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in synthetic organic chemistry, with demonstrated biochemistry experience, particularly in working with DNA, RNA, enzymes, or antibody/antigen chemistry.
• Strong proficiency in experimental design software (e.g., Design Expert) and analytical techniques such as chromatography and spectrometry.
• Experience in formulation chemistry is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must be a US citizen and able to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Experience working in a wet lab environment, with a keen attention to safety protocols and procedures.

• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Industrial Security clearance.
