Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) is seeking a DevSecOps Engineering Lead to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in the National Capital Region (NCR). This position does offer telework/hybrid work schedules.

Position Title : DevSecOps Engineering Lead
Position Location : Candidates must reside in the National Capital Region. Hybrid/telework options are available.
Daily Responsibilities:
•Lead the design, development, and operation of DevSecOps pipelines (CI/CD) supporting secure software delivery across multiple environments (development, staging, production).
•Responsible for building complex IT solutions.
•Ensures Technical Quality for a given set of products or functional areas:
o Development
o Infrastructure
o Configuration Management
o Monitoring (Infrastructure cost, security, and performance)
o CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery)
o Containerization (Docker)
o Security (Compliance automation, vulnerability assessment, and auditing)
o COTS tools
o Automated testing strategies
•Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes , and oversee deployment in cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or hybrid environments.
•Establish logging, monitoring, and alerting standards (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
•Contribute to security documentation including SSPs, POA&Ms, and ATO packages.
•Provides inputs in building product roadmap and assist in creating backlogs for technical tasks.
•Designs and documents technical solutions.
•Uses scripting or programming skills to solve problems.
•Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Required Years of Experience (min) :
•6 years relevant experience
Required Degree/Certifications :
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (+4 years) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Required Experience & Expertise in the following areas :
•6+ years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps, including team leadership.
•Proficient in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Groovy, etc.).
•Deep knowledge of modern CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
•Strong background in security scanning, containerization, automation, and cloud governance
•Experience building complex IT solutions and ensuring technical quality for products and functional areas.
•Scripting and programming experience.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Excellent time management and organization skills, handling multiple simultaneous and changing priorities.
•Ability to both work independently and function effectively as a member of a team.
Required Clearance :
•U.S. citizenship required. Candidates must be able to secure and maintain Federal Government security clearances as deemed appropriate by management.
