What will I be doing? You will be supporting the Air Force Operational Medicine Information Systems (AFOMIS) Program Office efforts in providing health-related Information Management/ Information Technology (IM/IT) services support to deployed Airmen and collocated personnel. The support includes Medical Expeditionary Systems (MEDXS), medical waivers workflow management, Expeditionary Health Data Store (EHDS), medical analytics dashboards, integrated IM/IT testing capability, medical operations; expeditionary deployment operations and installation contingency response; planning; training; and readiness support functions. What will I be doing? In this role, you will:
- Prepare PM Plans, track milestones and deliverables, and support Agile processes.
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of Health IT projects, from concept through deployment and sustainment, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including military clients and contractors, ensuring alignment on objectives and expectations.
- Oversee the development, integration, and sustainment of medical waivers workflow systems and analytics dashboards to support mission-critical healthcare operations.
- Provide leadership for the deployment and sustainment of TMIP systems in remote and deployed military locations; troubleshoot operational or technical issues.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to technical, resource, or operational challenges to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, current, and compliant with organizational and security standards.
- Enforce adherence to security protocols and clearance requirements across team members and systems.
- Resolve project execution issues using sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Collaborate with military stakeholders to tailor IT solutions to the dynamic needs of military medical operations.
- Manage testing and integration of IM/IT systems in physical and virtual environments; monitor performance and lead continuous improvement efforts.
- Coordinate with AFOMIS, ACC/SGX, and JOMIS stakeholders and provide regular updates, resolve scope issues, and ensure client satisfaction through transparent communication and timely delivery.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans including scope, schedule, and resource allocation; adjust plans as needed to respond to challenges.
- Provide briefings, manage meetings, and generate project reports.

You mustmeet theminimumrequirements:
- Active Secret clearance
- 10+ years of experience in managing the development and sustainment of:
- Medical waivers, workflow systems, and medical analytics dashboards in an enterprise environment
- Integrated IM/IT testing capability in physical and virtual environments
- On-site and remote medical operations support for TMIP systems at deployed locations
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
- Deep background in supporting military medical operations, with direct experience deploying TMIP systems to remote and deployed locations.
- Strong knowledge of IM/IT system testing in both physical and virtual settings.
- Skilled in leading geographically distributed teams (18-20 FTEs) with both remote and on-site staff, ensuring strong communication and performance.
- Advanced knowledge to ensure program-wide compliance with PHI protection.
