This role directly aligns with the DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce Framework work role for Network Technician (ID: 442) at the Advanced level. The successful candidate will provide crucial enterprise and tactical network infrastructure knowledge and support, potentially integrating with Cyber Protection Teams (CPTs). Responsibilities include understanding complex network technologies, supporting mission scoping, identifying network terrain, troubleshooting connectivity, managing network devices, and maintaining sensor grids. We prioritize robust training programs aligned with your career goals and DoD requirements, focusing on advanced networking technologies, security device management, and infrastructure best practices. Our leadership provides mentorship and resources to ensure continuous professional development.

Talent Management: Investing in your future. Every team member receives a detailed and fully customized Individual Development Plan (IDP). We facilitate cross-training and exploration of different roles within CACI, ensuring you remain challenged, engaged, and never bored.

This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to apply your hands-on networking expertise to maintain and secure the infrastructure supporting vital national security missions within a collaborative and growth-oriented team.

Responsibilities:

As a Network Technician, you will provide essential network infrastructure support and expertise, including but not limited to:

  • STIG Implementation: Apply Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) upgrades and configurations to network devices (KSAT 4606, 4532).

  • Network Monitoring Support: Characterize network traffic for trends and patterns (KSAT 4201). Potentially assist with SIEM integration and log analysis related to network devices (KSAT 4365).

  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives. Depending on experience and team structure, this role may involve working under direct supervision or potentially providing guidance, training, or supervision to others.
