Koniag Data Solutions (KDS) is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Logistics professional to manage and optimize our supply chain operations supporting federal government clients. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships
- Process purchase orders and track deliveries
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
- Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Coordinate logistics and shipping requirements
- Track assets and maintain asset databases
- Process procurement documentation
- Analyze spending patterns and costs
- Develop procurement strategies
- Manage procurement budgets
- Coordinate with project managers on requirements
- Ensure quality control of received goods
- Handle customs and import/export requirements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of procurement or logistics experience
- Active Secret clearance
- Experience with government procurement processes
- Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations
- Strong understanding of procurement processes
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of supply chain operations
- Proficiency in contract management
- Strong vendor management skills
- Excellence in documentation and record-keeping
- Knowledge of government procurement rules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with procurement software
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Professional certifications (CPCM, CPPM, CPSM)
- Experience with classified procurement
- Knowledge of DOD procurement processes
- Familiarity with GSA schedules
- Experience with ERP systems
- Knowledge of import/export regulations
- Experience with asset management
- Background in government contracting
- Knowledge of ISO standards
- Experience with quality control processes
- Understanding of cybersecurity requirements
- Previous military or government service
- Knowledge of logistics management
- Experience with procurement analytics
- Understanding of risk management
- Familiarity with sustainable procurement
- Experience with international shipping
