ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads 7-10 small unit training contractors in delivering Army gaming simulation support to collective training events.
• Planning Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the execution of gaming supported exercises for battalion and below units.
• Schedules and resources all MTC gaming supported events.
• Supervises the maintenance of all MTC Gaming suites which includes physical layout, hardware, software versions, IAVA patches, RMF requirements, mission command systems integration, and enablers.
• Plans and coordinates the integration of VBS3 as a core system with other US Army mission command systems.
• Understands mission command, small unit leader and staff training, development of training objectives, use of simulations and scenario products to meet training objectives.
• Tailors training venues for innovative support to meet commanders’ training objections.
• Supervises the testing of software and gaming databases.
• Prepares and presents briefings and demonstrations on gaming simulation models and exercise related issues.
• Monitors the Maintenance gaming accountability, event status, training usage and coordination on the MTC Share Point portal.
• Responsible for the gaming period of instruction and coaching to small unit individuals on VBS3 and Platform Mission Command (currently JBC-P and soon to be MMCS).
• Provides AAR support to the unit.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution desired.
• Completed the Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) or Intermediate Level Education, SGM Academy or equivalent level military schooling desired.
• Experience with gaming and constructive simulation programs.
• Experience as part of a G3/S3 staff at battalion or higher.
• Direct knowledge of Small Unit Tactics, Mission Command Warfighting Functions, LSCO/MDO, Military Decision-Making Process and Troop Leading Procedures.
• Possesses excellent organizational skills as well as research, writing, and communication skills.
• Must be proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
• Position requires close customer contact and the ability to work independently and creatively.
• Successful candidates must exhibit the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and senior government officials.
• Possess a Secret Clearance.
