Job Description:

Sealing Technologies (SealingTech), a Parsons Corporation business unit, is a leading provider of tailored defensive cybersecurity solutions to protect the Federal Government and private enterprise. As the Vice President and Business Unit Lead, you will oversee all aspects of the team- profit and loss (P&L) accountability, ensuring operational efficiency, strategic growth, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for leading a diverse team, managing resources, and driving business development initiatives to achieve business unit objectives and financial commitments. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of defensive cyber solutions, market, and landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of all departments and functional support teams, to include, growth, marketing, product development, manufacturing, and customer support.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to achieve business unit growth goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Lead the development of policies and procedures related to the operations of the business unit that are in line with business objectives; establish short and long-term operating and financial objectives for the business unit.
  • Ensure that approved policies and established objectives are clearly understood and effectively applied in all operating units within the business unit.
  • Review and approve operating plans, programs, capital, and expense budgets submitted by operating units within the business unit.
  • Measure the results of each departments activities against established schedules and financial objectives. Take appropriate remedial action as necessary.
  • Review and evaluate contracts and expense requests submitted by subordinate managers. Approve those within authority and submit those beyond authority to next level management along with recommendations.
  • Review and appraise performance of subordinate managers and recommend compensation changes as appropriate. Approve compensation changes for personnel within each department within approved level of authority.
  • Ensure that the organizational structure of each department is efficiently planned and adequately and competently staffed.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Regular reporting to Cyberwarfare Program Directorate leadership to include but not limited to: product sales pipeline, forecast, risk and opportunities (R&O), Internal Management Reviews, and annual budget builds.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.


Requirements:
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and quality excellence.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the cybersecurity or defensive cyber operations industry.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field and 20+ years of broad and diversified experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and profitability.


Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Top Secret/ SCI clearance is desired but not required. Must be SCI eligible.
  • Experience leading a cybersecurity group with revenue at or above $100M.
  • Experience leading the development of hardware and software-based cybersecurity solutions.
  • Experience working with cyber protection teams.

  • Supervision Received - Program Directorate leadership, Senior Management.
  • Supervision Given - Lower-level managers in the business unit.
  • Internal Contacts - All employees & managers in the business unit; Senior Management of other organizational units.
  • External Contacts - Clients; Government Agencies.

Salary Range: $186,800.00 - $357,100.00

This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
