As F8F strives for excellence in data labeling for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models/capabilities, the Quality Control Engineer is responsible for:
• Ensuring quantitative and qualitative measures for precision and accuracy in data labeling to standards
• Ensuring all company- and customer-defined requirements are followed and documented
• Apply evaluation and testing procedures to data
• Maintain control records and generate appropriate reports for internal/external use
• Identify defects and apply root cause analysis
• Identify and recommend applicable solutions to data defects
• Clear and concise communication with supervisors for reporting findings
• Request resources and collaborating on quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in training/re-training data labelers in achieving quality standards
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field like Statistics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Geography and 3 -5 years of experience in quality control programs -or- HS Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of experience in lieu of degree
- Familiarity with Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) systems/methods
- Thorough knowledge of Industry QC Standards
- Proficient in Data Analysis and quantitative analysis methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to Detail, initiative in problem-solving, ability to lead quality teams
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities to command Geographic Information Science and Technology software, spatial analysis tools, and geospatial data management systems.
- Basic programming skills in Python and/or SQL.
- Experience in a GIS-related field and potentially a certification like GISP (Geographic Information Systems Professional) and/or Professional Certification in Quality Control (i.e. Certified Quality Engineer -CQE- from the American Society for Quality -ASQ) and 5+ years of experience
- US Citizen and an Active TS/SCI
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Quality Management or Engineering
- Certified Quality Manager (CQE -ASQ); Certified Six Sigma Black/Green Belt, or other applicable, accredited certifications
