Description:Lockheed Martin (LM) is seeking an entry-level software developer/data-scientist to support our Missiles and Fire Control campus in Camden, Arkansas. Our operations utilize state of the art equipment and processes to produce and validate sophisticated hardware utilized by the Department of Defense (DOD) and our allies. This exciting role will offer the opportunity to develop data visualizations and program computer-based solutions to a wide variety of problems enabling better management/monitoring/use and control of information across all functional organizations.

The successful candidate will serve as an Associate Software Quality Engineer to develop and maintain a variety of software tools to operate the business efficiently and effectively while meeting Quality objectives.
Task assignments may include:
• Data collection, aggregation, analysis and reporting to provide insight (data) for making informed decisions.
• Developing computer programs/apps/scripts/macros/etc. to automate tasks, speed execution, improve accuracy, reduce manual processing, mistake proof tasks, realize cost savings, etc.
• Creating and maintaining communication platforms/web pages/etc. to improve dissemination of information and provide central access points to user-targeted tools or data.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in technical discipline from an accredited college (computer science/data/engineering field or STEM discipline)
• Ability to acquire and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• BS or MS degree in a computer/data science or engineering field
• Programming and scripting languages
• Data visualization tools
• Database, SharePoint, System administration
• Web development
• Lean/Six Sigma techniques and Statistical Process Control concepts
• Demonstrated initiative and accountability
• Well-organized with the ability to track multiple activities and prioritize tasks based on importance
• Effective interpersonal skills and communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
