You will be the Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our Engineering team. Our team is responsible for developing innovative mechanical products and systems, including tools and equipment, to support our production processes. We implement and design solutions that meet engineering hardware specifications, ensuring seamless integration and fabrication of components.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical products and systems, providing engineering support to the production floor, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications
• Creating complete technical data packages for fabrication and assembly
• Providing engineering support to the production floor for day-to-day integration processes
• Researching, planning, designing, and developing mechanical products and systems
• Applying problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve issues in a team environment

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required and must obtain an Interim Secret prior to start.
• Ability to work in an ordnance facility
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
• Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical design
• Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes
• Knowledgeable of hand tools and the ability to teach use of hand tools
Desired Skills:
• Proficient with MS Office suite
• Experience with AutoCAD, CREO, or Solid Works
• Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems/equipment used in a Manufacturing Environment
• Knowledgeable of engineering materials
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
