Software Developer - Subject Matter Expert - MOON 413-01
Country Intelligence Group is seeking a Full-Time Software Developer to support our client on the All Source Data Modeling and Analysis team. This team is responsible for executing complex Data Engineering, Science, Modeling, and Analysis initiatives in support of All Source Analysis Reports and Products. The selected candidate will serve as a key contributor in developing full-stack solutions that integrate large-scale data processing, AI/ML modeling, and modern cloud-based architectures. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, experience working with large language models (LLMs), and proficiency in modern software engineering tools and frameworks. This role requires a problem-solving mindset, effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to delivering high-impact technical solutions in support of mission-driven analysis.
Tasks Performed:
• Design and develop responsive, data-driven front-end applications using JavaScript and Angular.
• Build scalable and secure backend systems; develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Support AI/ML modeling, including the integration of large language models (LLMs) into data workflows.
• Deploy and maintain applications within the AWS cloud environment, leveraging native development tools and services.
• Implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for consistent development and deployment.
• Utilize ElasticSearch for efficient data indexing and retrieval across complex datasets.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other developers to ensure seamless integration of analytical models and data pipelines.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
• Experience in full-stack development with a focus on JavaScript, Angular, and API integration.
• Proficiency in developing and deploying applications in the AWS cloud environment using native development tools.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong working knowledge of ElasticSearch for data indexing, querying, and integration.
• Demonstrated experience in AI/ML, including AI modeling with Large Language Models (LLMs) for advanced data analysis and automation. (Preferred)
• Educational or practical experience in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) field. (Preferred)
