Blu Omega is seeking a Program Manager to lead innovative business improvement projects, providing project management support, and ensuring successful outcomes for the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of activities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and optimizing project delivery. You will work closely with senior leadership, program managers, and customer organizations, while developing tools, frameworks, and processes that drive innovation and enhance program success.
Must be able to work 5 days a week onsite in El Segundo, CA and hold a verified active DoD Secret clearance.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Project Oversight: Lead innovative business improvement initiatives, ensuring all team members possess the necessary qualifications and training.
• Communication: Develop and deliver clear, concise communication materials for senior leadership and workforce reporting.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain alignment and transparency by coordinating with Program Managers and Points of Contact (POCs) from customer organizations.
• Coaching & Support: Create and provide program management coaching materials to support innovation project owners, including guidance on innovation campaigns, open calls, and leadership-directed tasks.
• Tool Management: Develop, test, and maintain project management tools and templates; update or decommission outdated resources to ensure operational efficiency.
• Process Optimization: Identify redundancies and streamline project delivery by analyzing overlaps, recommending consolidation or elimination of redundant efforts, and optimizing resource allocation.
• Performance Metrics: Define and refine success metrics by implementing measurement frameworks to track project impact, status, and milestones, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Establish and assess performance metrics through data collection and analysis, generating reports to inform decision-making and enhance innovation processes.
Required Skills
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Secret Clearance required.
• Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
• Education & Experience: Master’s degree in Business Administration or a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Project Leadership: Proven experience leading or supporting initiatives in business process improvement, innovation, program management, modernization, and transformation, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity and hands-on experience with agile frameworks, leveraging data-driven insights to guide teams, execute innovation initiatives, deliver business solutions, and drive workforce culture change.
• Project Management Proficiency: Strong command of project management frameworks and methodologies, including innovation and design thinking frameworks, strategic communication planning, and workshop facilitation.
• Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Risk Management: Experience integrating innovative solutions while identifying and mitigating risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000
Your final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
