Job Summary:
Provides computer systems administration and database support. Conducts database analysis, including design and software use. Implements database changes and installs upgrades. Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves technical problems and system anomalies. Provides overall systems administration. Provides task management and hands-on systems engineering assistance to maintain and integrate distributed intelligence and/or battle management systems.

Job Summary:

Provides task management and hands-on systems engineering assistance to maintain and integrate distributed intelligence and/or battle management systems.
Essential Functions:
- Provides systems configuration management, systems and network engineering, systems upgrades and maintenance
- Provides engineering technical assistance, performing system analysis, integrating system components
- Configures data interfaces, troubleshooting system anomalies and developing engineering and software change reports
- Reviews technical documents, developing and maintaining system operating procedures and checklists
- Supports system and data flow analysis
- Other Duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, or related discipline plus 3 years recent specialized experience; or Associates Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, or related discipline plus 7 years recent specialized experience, or Major IT Certification plus 7 years recent specialized experience, or 11 years recent specialized experience.
- IA Technical Level II certification (SEI 264) or IAM Level I certification.
- Must demonstrate practical experience in the area(s) of expertise required in the Task Order, Performance Work Statement
- Specific knowledge and experience in UNIX (Solaris), and a working knowledge of relational database packages (Oracle or Sybase) and Windows NT / 2000.
- Strong working knowledge of computer hardware systems, peripherals, operating systems and applications software, network operating systems, WANs/LANs, and the specific military requirements and applications of the systems.
- Database administration experience with TBMCS Account Group, GCCS Account Group, Enterprise Manager (Oracle DB Admin), DII COE Profile Manager, Data Migration, Oracle forms, SyBase Central (Sybase DB Admin).
- System Administration experience with Sun Xterm, File Backup Tool, DII COE Utilities, Netscape Products, and File Management (XDIR).
- Desired skills experience administering UNIX (Solaris) and NT workstations and servers, Oracle RDBMs experience.
- Desired, but not required, are network administration experience with Network Intrusion Detection (NID), Network Installation Program (NIP), TBM Installation Tool (TINT), TBM Utility for Configuration (TUC), Network Time Protocol (NTP), ORBIX (Object Request Broker), and NIS+.
- Current experience as a TBMCS systems support role would be beneficial.
- Experience with CTAPS, CIS, WCCS or other TBM legacy systems are also desirable.
