The Space-Enabled Terrestrial Kill Chain Systems Engineer will support the Space Warfighting and Analysis Center (SWAC) across multiple operating locations to include Colorado Springs, the National Capital Region, and other CONUS locations. The qualified applicant will directly interface with customers and team members to gather information on various joint space-enabled terrestrial kill chains and manage and update the information for the SWAC wargaming team. The applicant will implement and maintain an advanced kill chain tracker for various human-in-the-loop and constructive analysis events to enable developers to instantiate the information into the appropriate analytic tools. The applicant is expected to review existing applications and requirements, react to changing priorities, and recommend enhancements and/or mitigate risks.

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Create, maintain, update kill chain trackers for various human-in-the-loop and constructive analysis events
- Manage information at various security levels (TS//SCI, SAP) and make available to simulation developers
- Interface with SWAC and SSDP divisions and understand how their force designs contribute to joint kill chains
- Work side-by-side with various simulation (SPySE, AFSIM, RAPTR, KCAT) developers to help instantiate joint kill chain data into applicable tools
- Test space-enabled terrestrial kill chain user interfaces in various sim tools and determine readiness for events
- Train players for human-in-the-loop analysis events on space-enabled terrestrial kill chain user interfaces
- Participate in human-in-the-loop analysis events as a joint/terrestrial player and/or facilitator
- Perform data analysis on space-enabled terrestrial kill chains and create products (e.g. slides, reports) after human-in-the-loop or constructive analysis events
Required Skills :
- 5+ years of wargaming or human-in-the loop analysis experience
- 5+ years of space-enabled terrestrial kill chain experience
- Advanced technical competency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel
- User experience with simulation tools like SPySE and RAPTR
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years)
- TS/SCI with eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
- An NMIS account, CED account, and SIC account
- Expert knowledge of DoD, National and applicable service and agency space programs
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with good customer engagement skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to directly interface with government and contractor team members with nebulous requirements
- Demonstrated ability to assess unusually complex technical problems and provide highly innovative solutions
- Able to contribute technical expertise throughout the system lifecycle including design, integration, test, and delivery to operations
Desired Skills :
- Experience with AFSIM and KCAT simulation tools
- User experience (ability to interpret) SysML diagrams

- STEM Master's Degree
- 4+ years Joint operational planning, integration, or requirements development experience
- 5+ years of commercial/civil space experience
- Experience working in SCI/SAP environment
- SCI and Special Access Required eligibility
