Responsibilities:
• Design & Deploy: Develop a comprehensive log analytics and monitoring solution using the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Beats, and Kibana).
• Maintain & Optimize: Deploy, configure, test, troubleshoot, and continuously optimize Elastic clusters for optimal health and performance.
• User Configuration: Configure Kibana to enable role-based access and leverage multi-tenancy features for end users.
• Integration: Work closely with developers to integrate the Elastic Stack with the existing ICAM baseline.
• Metrics Reporting: Gather and compile metrics for monthly and quarterly customer reviews.
• Issue Resolution: Address installation, data flow, and log ingestion issues in both development and production environments.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform daily management tasks for Elasticsearch clusters and environments.
• Agile Collaboration: Estimate features and user stories, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to design and architecture elements that support user story development.
• DevSecOps Practices: Engage in automated CI/CD processes and participate in design reviews.
• Design Mockups: Create mockups and wireframes to visualize features and user experiences.
• Peer Reviews: Conduct peer and code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline plus 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of demonstrable experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats).
• Strong background as a software developer, integrator, or administrator in a technical role.
• Must be DoD-8570/8140 level 2 compliant.
• Proven experience with Elastic Stack security features (client authentication, SSL/TLS configuration, role-based filtering).
• Exceptional documentation skills to create troubleshooting guides, standard operating procedures, and architecture diagrams.
• Highly autonomous and proactive in maintaining system infrastructure and data integrity.
• Experience using Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Elastic Certified Engineer.
• Familiarity with container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in a production environment with high availability and uptime requirements.
• Understanding of identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) technologies and concepts.
