Job Summary:
We are seeking a Hybrid - Cloud Platform Engineer to support an IC customer/contract in Springfield, VA. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to obtain a CI polygraph.

We are seeking a Hybrid - Cloud Platform Engineer to support an IC customer/contract in Springfield, VA. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to obtain a CI polygraph.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments.
- Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps
- Deply OpenShift to new sites as they come online.
- Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them.
- Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
- Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack
Required Skills:
- Prior experience building and maintaining Platform as a Service offerings via Cloud based providers
- Strong understanding of RHEL/CentOS Linux distributions
- Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services
- Experience in automating tasks using scripted languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Perl
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Familiarity with DevOps development processes and Continuous Integration tools: Gitlab, Jenkins, Nexus
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
- 10+ years IT experience.
- 5+ years experience with Platform as a Service Offerings (e.g. RedHat OpenShift, Tanzu, etc.)
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- RedHat Certified OpenShift Administrator
