What You'll Do
- Analyze user requirements, concept of operations, and system architectures to develop clear system requirements
- Lead design and development activities, ensuring alignment between requirements, design, and technology
- Provide expert guidance to users, advising on alternative approaches and conducting feasibility studies
- Deliver technical leadership on integrating new plans, designs, and systems into live operations
- Create detailed technical documentation, system architecture materials, and system design documents
- Drive system development and implementation planning, including preparation of engineering management plans and integration/test plans
- Coordinate with stakeholders on systems engineering technical matters, addressing issues or conflicts as they arise
- Maintain responsibility for the technical integrity of all work and deliverables within the systems engineering scope
- Communicate effectively with program personnel, oversight bodies, and senior leadership
What You Bring (Required)
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related field (an additional five years of SE experience may be substituted for the degree)
- Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer on programs and contracts of similar size and complexity
- Demonstrated ability to plan and lead large-scale systems engineering efforts
- Direct experience with the NSA Development Testing (DT) process, including the ability to guide teams through NSA DT and coordinate cross-organizational testing activities
- Strong ability to work independently in fast-paced environments without needing constant direction
- Background in NSA, intelligence, or Department of Defense (DoD) projects
