- Analyzes the customer's and military and governmental stakeholders' actual and predictable operational activities to develop a quantitative and rational basis for decision-making.
- Develops and delivers communications-related and administrative presentations to government customers and contract team members. Organizes and leads assigned sections of analytical, communications, and administrative projects.
- Drafting public affairs material, to include correspondence, talking points, and speeches, for the Senior Executive to present at external forums.
- Performs research and analysis on projects to enhance the operational or administrative efficiency of a process or product.
- Developing, reviewing, and editing communications deliverables for the Director and senior customers. Ensure communications products are consistent between team members, customers, and external stakeholders. Composing responses to routine inquiries and assists the Director in communication with his subordinates.
- Providing executive administrative assistance to the Director including coordinating with external organizations for meeting requests, logistical coordination and speaking engagements using sound judgment, initiative and independent action.
- Coordinating as the administrative point of contact for government staff personnel in a sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) using comprehensive knowledge of Office of the Secretary of Defense missions, policies and operations.
- Arranging hotel and travel accommodations and processes claims using the Defense Travel System (DTS).
- Following administrative, confidential, and sensitive data guidelines.
- Prioritizing work assignments to ensure work is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conducting staff work and build relationships

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of analyst or administrative experience
- Strong administrative skills, including vocational, communication, primary (reading and basic arithmetic) and significant tact and judgment skills
- Ability to report to customer site five-days per week within the hours of 9:00-5:00, or as directed by the Government Executive
- Can manage daily calendar, appointments, and travel (local and overnight) for Government Executive
- A high level of proficiency in computer applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and others
- TS SCI Clearance
Desired Skills
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of analyst or administrative experience
- Prior experience as Executive Assistant for a military or civilian Government executive
- Familiarity with Pentagon processes, such as Motor Pool requests, visitor access requests, conference room scheduling, and supply requests
- Familiarity with the Defense Travel System (DTS)
- Familiarity with operations and requirements of a sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF)
- Familiarity with government confidentiality and sensitive data guidelines
