Opportunity:

Configuration Management Specialist - Junior

CACI is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist - Junior to join our team to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Guantanamo, Cuba . This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the da ily operation s of the Configuration Management process and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) , ensur ing the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data across the Enterprise Information Environment (EIE) .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support for CMDB-related issues and queries


  • Assist users in navigating and utilizing the CMDB effectively


  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal CMDB performance


  • Collaborate with the Configuration Management team to implement updates and improvements


  • Conduct user training sessions on CMDB tools and best practices


  • Monitor CMDB system health and performance, escalating complex issues when necessary


  • Collaborate with various IT teams to identify and document configuration items and their relationships


  • Manage the lifecycle of configuration items, including creation, modification, and retirement


  • Provide reports and analytics on configuration data to support decision-making and change management processes


  • Assist in data quality checks and audits to maintain CMDB accuracy


  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills


Require d Qualifications :

  • Must hold an active secret level clearance


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology , Computer Science, or related field


  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification


  • < 4 years of experience in IT Service Management, preferably in Asset / Configuration Management


Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$61,600-$129,300
