ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Aeronautical Systems Engineer to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This is a hybrid role that will allow 2-3 days a week of remote work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, or evaluate military weapons systems
- Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, and other technical documentation
- Analyze, design, develop, or evaluate components or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems and associated support systems
- Develop and edit material for reports, briefs, and related technical publications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an Engineering related discipline, OR, An associate's degree with related discipline and 7+ years of relevant work experience, OR, a high school diploma and 9+ years of relevant work experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree requirement
- 3+ years of experience related to Rotary Wing Engineering
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD), preferably SolidWorks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MATLAB and/or similar tools
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Teams applications
- Rotary Wing and Design course completions
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active Secret security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
