Summary

TTG Solutions is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to contribute to the maintenance of legacy applications and support the transition to a new system architecture. This role is based in the Reston area and requires expertise in modern DevOps practices.

Description

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining existing legacy applications and assisting in the transition to a new system architecture. You'll implement and support CI/CD pipelines, manage Kubernetes and Docker environments, and ensure robust cloud agnostic solutions. Additionally, you'll integrate automated testing tools, develop complex scripts for cloud services, and work collaboratively in an agile environment.

Experience Level

Expert Generally requires eleven (11) years of experience specific to the skill and relevant training or certifications

Requirements: 11 yrs - 15 yrs 11 mos

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of DevOps experience
  • 3+ years of Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) experience
  • 3+ years of Kubernetes and Docker experience
  • Experience supporting cloud agnostic environments
  • Experience integrating automatic test tools into CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Linux Operating Systems
  • Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining complex functions and scripts for cloud services
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Proficiency with Git

Optional Skills

  • Experience with building security hardened images
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform

Base Salary$180,000 - $218,000
PTO30 days annual PTO, which includes holidays.
Retirement15% company retirement contribution. No match required. Vesting period is 50% per year over 2 years.
Paid BenefitsCompany pays all insurance expenses up to 8% of base pay. If your insurance expenses are less that that, we bonus the difference to you.
Annual Bonuses3% to 5% annual bonuses.
Cell Phone Stipend$100 monthly phone expense reimbursement.
Training Budget3 paid training days + $2,500 training budget
New Hire Bonus$5,000 new hire bonus
