Position Description
Serco is seeking a Network Communications Manager 1 to join our dynamic team supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Fort Chaffee in Arkansas. This role provides leadership to the Network Support Team (NST) in delivering efficient and effective communication architecture for the installation network.

Serco is seeking a Network Communications Manager 1 to join our dynamic team supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Fort Chaffee in Arkansas. This role provides leadership to the Network Support Team (NST) in delivering efficient and effective communication architecture for the installation network.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the Network Support Team (NST) to ensure communication architecture efficiency.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement exercise support communications plans.
- Configure communications equipment and assist in equipment and circuitry installation to support exercises.
- Implement Cyber Security processes to maintain secure networks.
- Work closely with the Mission Training Complex (MTC) Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) within the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Network Management or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Network Architecture design and implementation, or
- Master's degree in Network Management or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
- Experience with:
- Advanced planning, troubleshooting, and maintenance on the Microsoft server platform.
- Cisco router, switch, and firewall configuration.
- Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) configuration/architecture.
- Specific product lines (Cisco, Fujitsu, Hewlett Packard, and Tripwire).
- RMF Assess and Authorize process and Cyber Security requirements.
- Must have or be able to acquire Information Assurance Training (IAT) Level II Certification within 180 days from start of work.
- Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
- Strong understanding of technology integration and information flow including LAN/WAN, firewalls, security, storage, and backup methodologies.
- Must be able to frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to support shifts occurring outside normal working hours to support 24/7 operations during exercise events.
- Must be able to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time).
- Must be able to work on-site at Fort Chaffee in Arkansas.

- Strong technical expertise in network architecture and cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting critical missions.
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Hold additional CompTIA certifications, such as Security+, Network+, and A+.
- Vendor certifications for CCNA, Windows, Server, and Redhat Linux.
