Position Description
Join Serco's dynamic team supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania. As a Sr. Principal Military Trainer - Mission Command Systems Training Lead, you will take a lead role in developing the next generation of mission command training. This role is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.

Join Serco's dynamic team supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania. As a Sr. Principal Military Trainer - Mission Command Systems Training Lead, you will take a lead role in developing the next generation of mission command training. This role is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.
In this role, you will:
- Supervise a team of Individual Computer Based Trainers and ensure delivery of world-class instruction in accordance with approved Programs of Instruction (POIs).
- Provide reach-back support for Individual Training staff at spoke sites.
- Ensure all Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) are loaded with the latest software and maintain all individual training equipment.
- Manage course scheduling, team cross-training, and professional development.
- Prepare MCIS briefing materials for the Mission Command Training audience.
- Ensure the team is prepared to support simulation exercises using WARSIM and other simulation systems.
- Support various exercises with "over the shoulder" MCIS expertise.Assist in training for all supported classes as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of MCIS teaching experience, or Master's degree with at least 8 years of MCIS teaching experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of Command Post Operations experience.
- Must possess an active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
- Demonstrated experience in Training Development Analysis, writing Plans of Instruction, and technical writing.
- Subject matter expertise in CPCE and Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) integration for Mission Command Training.
- Proficiency with integration of MCIS such as CPCE, AFATDS, AMDWS, TAIS, GCCS-A, JADOCS, Command Web, Tactical Messaging, WAVE, and JBC-P.
- Working knowledge of simulation systems supporting MCIS instruction and exercises, including JLCCTC and DXTRS.
- Ability to travel up to 25% and work on-site at Fort Indiantown Gap, PA.
- May be required to obtain Network+ certification depending on MCIS expertise.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Extensive leadership experience managing training teams.
- Strong understanding of Army command post operations and training systems.
- Ability to manage and deliver complex training programs aligned to Army objectives.
