Position Description
Serco is seeking a Mission Command Doctrinal Training Team (DTT) Manager 1 to join our team at the Mission Training Complex in Gowen Field, Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will manage a dynamic team delivering warfighting function-specific training in support of Army readiness objectives. You will ensure doctrinal accuracy and training realism through scenario development and direct engagement with Training Unit Commanders (TUCs).

Serco is seeking a Mission Command Doctrinal Training Team (DTT) Manager 1 to join our team at the Mission Training Complex in Gowen Field, Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will manage a dynamic team delivering warfighting function-specific training in support of Army readiness objectives. You will ensure doctrinal accuracy and training realism through scenario development and direct engagement with Training Unit Commanders (TUCs).
In this role, you will:
- Manage the DTT, supporting six warfighting functions with tailored training solutions for unit-specific needs.
- Deliver support to live and constructive Mission Command training events.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of U.S. Army TRADOC doctrine to ensure accurate training content.
- Provide current training OPORDs and scenarios to training units, modifying them as needed to meet specific objectives.
- Enable DTT flexibility to support diverse unit requirements, including chemical, sustainment, aviation, engineers, and fires.
- Work directly with TUCs to develop training scenarios that ensure operational realism.
- Serve as the deputy site lead in the absence of the primary site lead.

- One of the following:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of military or DoD experience.
- Master's degree with a minimum of 10 years of military or DoD experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in exercise planning using the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC).
- Previous service as a primary staff member at the Brigade or Division level.
- Senior Army leadership experience with a background in training management.
- Experience in one of the following ranks/roles at the battalion or higher level:
- 04/MAJ, E8/MSG, or CW2/Warrant Officer.
- One of the following:
- 6+ years of staff experience in a specific Warfighting Function.
- 8+ years of MCTSP experience in a comparable role.
- Recent experience within the Army National Guard training support system or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience using Army Mission Command Information Systems in a Warfighting Function area.
- Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with senior military leadership.
- Ability to work onsite at Gowen Field in Boise, Idaho.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

- Deep knowledge of Army training doctrine and exercise planning.
- Ability to manage multi-discipline teams in a high-tempo training environment.
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.

- Experience at a Combat Training Center (CTC).
- Previous service as a battalion or higher-level commander (or similar role).
