Position Description
Serco is seeking a Mission Command Doctrinal Training Team (DTT) Manager 1 to support the Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Camp Atterbury near Edinburgh, Indiana. In this position, you will lead a doctrinal training team responsible for preparing Army units for exercises, rotations, and deployments through live and constructive mission command training support.

Serco is seeking a Mission Command Doctrinal Training Team (DTT) Manager 1 to support the Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Camp Atterbury near Edinburgh, Indiana. In this position, you will lead a doctrinal training team responsible for preparing Army units for exercises, rotations, and deployments through live and constructive mission command training support.
In this role, you will:
- Manage DTTs covering six warfighting functions (WFF), ensuring simultaneous and independent support tailored to unit-specific needs.
- Provide modular training support adaptable to low-density branches including sustainment, aviation, engineers, fires, and chemical.
- Maintain doctrinal accuracy with TRADOC publications and ensure Training Unit Commanders receive current Operations Orders (OPORDs) and scenarios.
- Customize scenarios and training plans in collaboration with commanders to align with unit readiness objectives.
- Serve as deputy site lead in the absence of the primary site lead, maintaining awareness of broader site operations.

- One of the following:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of U.S. military or DoD experience.
- Master's degree with a minimum of 10 years of U.S. military or DoD experience.
- At least 5 years of experience using the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) for exercise planning.
- Former primary staff at brigade or division level with senior Army leadership and training management background.
- Prior Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support Officer with battalion-level staff experience.
- Functional experience at the 04/MAJ, E8/MSG, or CW2/Warrant Officer level.
- One of the following:
- 6+ years of combined staff experience in a warfighting function.
- 8+ years of specialized MCTSP experience.
- Recent involvement in the Army National Guard training support system or a similar program.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Army Mission Command Information Systems within a WFF area.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Must be able to work onsite at Camp Atterbury and travel up to 10% of the time.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong understanding of Army training doctrine and warfighting function integration.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in interfacing with senior military leaders.
- Experience leading and mentoring teams in dynamic operational training environments.
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Combat Training Center (CTC) experience.
- Former Battalion or higher commander or equivalent leadership experience.
