The Senior Stakeholder Engagement Specialist leads strategic communication, user engagement, and adoption efforts for Department of Defense (DoD) health IT initiatives, including JOMIS and PARATUS system deployments. This role is responsible for coordinating operational messaging, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving adoption campaigns across Navy leadership, NAVMED, and FMF units. The specialist will ensure consistent engagement with key stakeholders, facilitate briefings, and support change management strategies to enhance the successful rollout of profiling and readiness tools.

Type of Employment: Full-time, W2

Work Location/Travel: Remote with up to 25% travel to Navy installations, military treatment facilities, or government offices; relocation not required

Salary Range: $115,000-$140,000 annually (W2, based on education, experience, and geographic location)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead communication strategies and user engagement efforts to support adoption of JOMIS and PARATUS initiatives.

  • Coordinate operational messaging campaigns for readiness and profiling tools across Navy leadership.

Develop and deliver briefings and stakeholder communications aligned with project objectives.

  • Act as a liaison between program teams and NAVMED/FMF units to ensure stakeholder alignment.

  • Support change management activities to facilitate smooth adoption of new systems and workflows.

  • Manage stakeholder feedback loops and integrate insights into engagement strategies.

  • Ensure consistent messaging and alignment with DoD and Navy operational readiness priorities.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Expertise in stakeholder management, engagement strategies, and communication planning.

  • Strong presentation and briefing skills tailored for Navy leadership and operational stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of change management principles and best practices.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

Education/Certification Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Public Health

Experience Required:

  • 13+ years of experience managing stakeholder engagement, communication strategies, and user adoption campaigns for IT or healthcare initiatives.

  • Proven experience conducting briefings and managing user engagement for readiness or health IT tools

Technical Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in stakeholder communication tools and methods.

  • Experience supporting large-scale adoption and change management initiatives within DoD environments

Desirable (Not Required) Skills/Experience:

  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP).

  • Experience engaging with Navy leadership, NAVMED, and FMF units.

  • Background in coordinating operational messaging for defense health initiatives.
