Position Description
Serco is seeking a Mission Command Doctrinal Training Team (DTT) Manager to join our team supporting the Mission Training Complex at Fort Indiantown Gap in Pennsylvania. This position requires strong leadership and a background in military training management. The DTT Manager will oversee the delivery of tailored training solutions aligned with Army doctrine and warfighting function requirements. This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.

Serco is seeking a Mission Command Doctrinal Training Team (DTT) Manager to join our team supporting the Mission Training Complex at Fort Indiantown Gap in Pennsylvania. This position requires strong leadership and a background in military training management. The DTT Manager will oversee the delivery of tailored training solutions aligned with Army doctrine and warfighting function requirements. This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.
In this role, you will:
- Manage a DTT that supports six warfighting functions (WFF), which may operate simultaneously and independently or as a multifunction team.
- Provide live and constructive Mission Command training to support units' readiness.
- Maintain current knowledge of United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) doctrine and ensure Training Unit Commanders (TUCs) receive updated Operations Orders (OPORDs) and scenarios.
- Ensure flexible team composition to support modular training for low-density branches such as chemical, sustainment, aviation, engineers, and fires.
- Collaborate with TUCs to adapt OPORDs and scenarios to the unit's needs to create realistic training events.
- Remain familiar with site-wide operations and serve as deputy site lead in the absence of the site lead.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of military or U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) experience, or a master's degree with a minimum of 10 years of military or DoD experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in exercise planning using the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) process.
- Experience as a staff primary at the Brigade or Division level.
- Prior senior Army leadership experience with a training management background.
- Served as a Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support Officer with primary staff experience in at least one Warfighting Function at the Battalion level or higher.
- One of the following background qualifications:
- 04/MAJ
- E8/MSG
- CW2/Warrant Officer with battalion-level experience
- One of the following:
- A minimum of 6 years of combined staff experience within the specific Warfighting Function (or similar)
- A minimum of 8 years of specialized MCTSP experience in this type of duty position
- Recent experience working within the Army National Guard training support system or a similar system.
- A minimum of 2 years working with Warfighting Function area Army MISSION Command Information Systems.
- An active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with senior military leaders.
- Ability to work on-site at Fort Indiantown Gap in Pennsylvania.
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 10%).
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Combat Training Center (CTC) experience.
- Experience as a previous Battalion or higher commander (or equivalent).
