Strategic Growth Partners provides both operations & strategic support to tribal 8(a) & commercial organizations. Our client is seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Technician at a government facility in Adams County, PA. Must be willing to travel occasionally and have reliable transportation.
Clearance: Active Government Clearance is a plus but not required. DoD Top Secret/SCI preferred.
Workplace Type:
• Onsite. 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
• Day and night shifts available
• Monday to Friday with overtime opportunities.
Compensation: $30 – 40 per hour.

Experience Level Requirements:
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in ISP/OSP installation, splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with single-mode, ribbon, and pigtail splices; Unicam and anaerobic terminations; OTDR and power meter usage.
• Must be willing to travel occasionally and have reliable transportation. Great benefits and great starting salary for proper candidate.
• BICSI Certification and an active Government Clearance are preferred. Clearance may be required depending on the project
• Will require background check and drug screening
Required Experience and Skills:
• General working knowledge of the installation of Structured Cabling Systems.
• General knowledge of building, fire, and electrical codes as they apply to structure cabling systems.
• Experience with working with fiber MM and SM
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, insurance and reliable transportation.
• Daily travel to job sites will be required and must have reliable transportation.
• Have the knowledge and skills on hand and power tools.
• Must maintain tools.
• Must have OSHA-approved boots.
• Can pass a background check and drug screen.
• Willing to travel out of state (30% or more).
