Solidus is searching for a Integration and Test Engineer. This position is located in Aurora, CO and candidates must be able to work on-site
You will join a team that puts our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.
The Integration and Test Engineer supports the Product Owner in completing tasks for Features and Capabilities requested by the government in support of government-led test events. The Integration and Test Engineer also assists the Product Owner and Team in planning the team's scope to complete them efficiently during each program increment.
Clearance Requirements:
• US Citizenship and an Active Top Secret/SCI
• Willingness to undergo comprehensive background investigation
Day in the Life:
• Support the Product Owner that oversees and provides daily direction to the assigned Product Team
• Helps to manage the team's backlog and capacity during each program increment
• Plan and support various customer-led mission test events
• Regularly interact with the End-User by managing and nurturing the business relationship, managing expectations vs. scope of contract, proactively addressing emerging needs, and identifying results.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and align Product Team's priorities with Test Cross Product Lead.
• Works independently, determines & develops approach to solution
• Willingness to travel in support of offsite testing and meetings
• Work in an Agile program environment
• Supporting various government-led enterprise mission events, supporting team's backlog, supporting the team during program increment planning, being involved the team's capacity, participating in retrospectives to continuously improve after each program increment, elaborating and developing test plans and procedures, addressing/prioritizing issues as found in the system, and identifying results
• Participates in various program reviews and presentations to the customer as well as senior program management
Key Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience or 5 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in (STEM)
• Technical team leadership experience
• Experience with systems engineering principles and activities
• Pro-active, can-do and team-oriented attitude to foster a positive culture
• 5+ years demonstrated experience and knowledge of the system and software development to include:
o System / Software Development and implementation o Management and integration of COTS/FOSS
o Development kubernetes / container based systems
o Development and deployment of software dependency repositories, configuration files and logs inn development pipelines, integration and test environments
o Design and As-Built / Implementation specifications o Use of discrepancy report systems and developing closure plans
o Ability to the identify, manage, and mitigate technical risk
• Experience developing Software Builds with code quality and security compliance standards
• Development of unit, component, integration, and acceptance tests
• Experience integrating, troubleshooting, problem isolation of software / containerized applications
• Experience configuring tools that capture performance-based metrics in support of requirement sell-off
• Experience working across product teams • Strong desire to learn, take initiative and contribute to a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle models (waterfall and Agile)
Preferred Skills:
• Software / System development and integration experience on a prototype / pursuit program
• Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment
• Experience using CI/CD, pipelines and container-based dev sec ops tools; gitlab, jenkins, artifactory, gradle, nexus, junit, pytest, sonarcube, Coverity, docker, helm charts, harbor, ArgoCD, Trivy, Anchore, rancher, cucumber
• Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools or similar tools; CameoEA, Jira, Confluence, ZephyrScale
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $122,000- $175,000. Customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies and certifications, clearance status, and benefit selections will influence the final salary.
