Job Title: Tier III SATCOM Tech / Project Lead

Job Location: Camp Arifjan, Kuwait

Job Responsibilities

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Tier III SATCOM Tech who can also serve as the Onsite Project Lead for a Regional Hub Node (RHN) terminal antenna and radome construction project under the Satellite Terminal Modernization (STM) program. This position is responsible for overall contract performance onsite at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait as follows.

• Provide operations and Tier III maintenance of a tactical SATCOM terminal, maintaining at a 99.5% uptime.
• Work six-days a week, eight hours per day, nomimally Saturday through Thursday.
• Be flexible with performance of the 48 hours per week (sometimes day shift, sometimes night shift, and sometimes a swing shift) as dictated by the RHN terminal construction project.
• Be available on call 24/7 in support of the tactical SATCOM terminal.
• Report to the CONUS-based STM Program Manager and oversee all aspects of compliant delivery for onsite activities related to RHN terminal construction to include civil works, technology insertion, testing, and operations.
• Serve as the primary interface with onsite customers, corporate resources, and vendors on contractual and technical matters.
• Lead all onsite actions for logistical, base access, permitting, site coordination, surveying, and other actions required for the installation of new RHN terminals.

Minimum Qualifications

• An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
• Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on operations and maintenance support experience with DOD satellite systems including tactical terminals (RHN or comparable).
• Possess a current United States passport.
• Proficient with Microsoft suite applications.
• Be able to execute duties with minimal supervision.
• Pass medical deployment requirements.

Desired Qualification

• Experience working with or for Military Garrison or Installation Support commands.
• Experience in Military Signal Planning, Training, and Installation Background.
• Understanding of US Army organizations.

Education

• High School or equivalent.
