Augustine Consulting Inc. is a Woman-Owned Small Business professional services provider of engineering and technical services to the United States Government. We seek an experienced, self-starting Director of IT and Cybersecurity, to serve as a part of the Company's Corporate Staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Director of IT and Cybersecurity will provide leadership, oversight, policy, and strategic direction for the Company's IT functions and infrastructure in support and alignment with Company goals and requirements. This includes data management and storage; network operations, management, and security; the acquisition and application of IT technology and business systems; corporate cybersecurity; and disaster recovery. The Director of IT and Cybersecurity is responsible for the company's enterprise architecture while overseeing the secure and effective integration of internal and external IT resources in support of the Company's evolving needs; managing the Company's IT portfolio; recommending system and process improvements; implementing and maintaining NIST 80-171 compliance and achieving and maintaining Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC); supervising the Company's IT staff; and managing the Company's IT budget.

Required:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of the work being performed, candidates for this role must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with relevant experience
  • 10+ years' experience working in IT operations leading dynamic and highly collaborative teams
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CSSP)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in overseeing technology and security systems
  • Demonstrated experience supervising a team of IT professionals
  • Thorough understanding of information technology and practical application of information technology to support organizational goals
  • Excellent understanding of enterprise architectures, computer systems, security, networks, systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
  • Excellent hands-on proficiency in organizational leadership and management, project management, communications, and problem analysis
  • Proficiency in managing IT projects that align technology initiatives with organizational goals and evolving organizational needs
  • Experience and proficiency in re-engineering processes, managing change, and developing
  • Understanding of NIST 800-171 compliance requirements, the CMMC framework and the development of an SSP and the POA&M to achieve CMMC once required
  • Desire and ability to work on-site at least 60% of the time and ability to travel at least 10% of the time

Pay Band Information:

$115,000 - $208,000

The ACI pay range for this position is a general guideline only, and not a guarantee of a specific compensation. Factors that influence the pay offered to a specific candidate for this position include, but are not limited to, federal and state laws; federal government contract labor categories and contract wage rates; relevant prior work experience; a candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors; geographic location; education; and certifications.
