Summary:
TTC is looking for qualified candidates to support our customer at Headquarters Air Combat Command (ACC), Directorate of Operations (A3), Flight Operations Division (A3T) to Analyze, develop, and evaluate detailed plans, goals, and objectives for long-range implementation of assigned Lead Major Command aircrew munitions program(s). Serves as the gatekeeper for the administration and processing of publications, guidance memorandums, configuration changes, directives, and notifications. Assist in the support and development of policies for the ACC Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE) program. Provide support to A3 to plan, organize, and recommend necessary policies, regulations, directives, programs, doctrine, and procedures for the establishment and maintenance of assigned command AFE programs. Travel up to 25% of the time may be required.
Responsibilities & Objectives of this Role:
Monitor and brief leadership on Command Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) subject matter, career field utilization, funding and forecasting requirements, policy, training, sustainment monitoring, and configuration control of over $2B in assets.
Provide recommendations to MAJCOM functional managers to resolve complex AFE system problems in support of program management, acquisition, and sustainment with aircraft and Human System SPOs.
Coordinate AFE issues with HAF, subordinate commands, Aircraft and Human Systems SPOs, 40 ACC Wings, Field Operating Agencies, and Total Force Integrated Units under the CAF umbrella.
Advise technicians throughout the CAF on methods for resolving/troubleshooting problems, repairing difficult AFE system malfunctions, performing research and analysis, and resolving equipment problems with long term AF-wide implications.
Assist with AFE maintenance procedure and training course development and conduct technical training.
Disseminate information on AFE technical issues, results of meetings, and conference findings to specialists in the field.
Recommend changes to AFIs, AFE technical manuals, maintenance processes, and concepts of operation (CONOPS) to improve combat readiness and system capabilities.
Provide staff recommendations for AFE operations, contingencies, and wartime requirements utilizing appropriate security practices and procedures.
Assist in the analysis of current policies, programs, and requirements as they apply to ACC and worldwide CAF operations and help develop solutions to increase effectiveness in support of warfighting COCOMs.
Assist in Command logistician efforts related to warehousing, procuring, sustaining flight equipment to support aviators. Assist HAF in developing strategic plans for management of AFE.
Assist with MAJCOM Flight Equipment forecasts such as the annual life sustaining equipment, Cartridge Activated Devices (CAD) / Propellant Activated Devices (PAD), Munitions, and Aircrew Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (ACBRN) forecast.
Provide CAF lead command roles with oversight of Platform Authorization 450 (AFE Systems).
Coordinate change requests between units and Supply Chain Authorizations Squadron (SCOS).
Support field units by conducting Battlefield Airmen Resource System (BARs) training for users; managing system access and change requests for related information systems; advocating for funding to create and maintain minimum stock levels; and coordinating field level requisition validations and approvals.
Brief senior leadership on gender specific AFE effort way ahead, changes, and funding requirements as requested during AFE related working groups and council meetings.
Recommend resolutions for warehouse management issues and coordinate with applicable parties to prepare for and implement approved changes.
Maintain Master Lesson Plans (MLPs) with relevant, accurate information.
Disseminate information on AFE technical issues, results of meetings, and conference findings to field specialists, senior enlisted leaders, and commanders.
Monitor Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) and utilize required security and safety procedures to prepare presentation documents needed to brief senior leaders, managers, and staff at all levels.
Perform unit posturing, Time Phase Force Deployment (TPFD), Mission Essential Taskings (METS) analysis and change requests, management of taskings within Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES), DRRS, and the AEF Online Reclama Processing Tool (RPT) with HHQ to support readiness and employment of 575 ACC AFE personnel.
Create and maintain minimum stock levels of AFE within BARs (or equivalent) and audit the supply and ordering system to check for compliance with AF and DoD regulations.
Utilize DPAS program to monitor, query, and complete AFE reports/forecasts and provide final products to supporting/requesting agencies.
Participate in Site Activation Task Force (SATAF) to help determine the scope of ACC AFE requirements for personnel, equipment and logistics and coordinate and/or conduct technician training for field units with modernized aircraft or Guardian Angel program capabilities.
Perform other duties related to AFE management and oversight.
Requirements:
Graduate of a USAF Aircrew Life Support, Survival Equipment, or AFE apprentice course and awarded the Craftsman (7-level) skill1
10 years of experience in the AFE (1P0X1) career field.
Physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 pounds repetitively.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Active Secret clearance

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
