What You'll Do
You'll join a skilled IT Operations team supporting a mission-critical environment. Your work will involve the full lifecycle of enterprise networking, with a focus on performance, security, and resiliency.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Monitor, administer, securely install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), COMSEC (TACLANE) and Electronic Key Management System (EKMS), load balancers, domain name system (DNS) appliances, F5, AnyConnect, ClearPass, SolarWinds, Palo Alto Firewalls and wireless infrastructure.
- Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
- Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Replace faulty network hardware components as necessary to maintain system integrity
- Monitor network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
- Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems
- Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.
- Provide complete lifecycle support for enterprise network assets
- Supporting on-call rotation and occasional weekend work as needed
What You Bring
We're looking for a mid to senior-level network professional who thrives in high-security environments and is ready to take ownership of complex technical systems.
To Succeed in This Role, You'll Need:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering
- Current Top Secret clearance
Relevant certifications, including:
- Security+ (required)
- CCNA or CCNP (preferred)
- Compliance with DoD 8570 requirements
- Strong understanding of DoD STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides)
- Solid analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working fully on-site, Monday through Friday (target start time: 8:00 AM PST)
- Willingness to support after-hours and weekend operations when needed
- An associate degree or higher is helpful but not mandatory
