Description
The Proposal Solutions Architect plays a critical role in Plateau GRP's growth strategy by leading the technical and strategic development of proposal solutions. This individual will work closely with capture managers, proposal managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and technical teams to design compelling, compliant, and winning solutions in response to RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitations.
This position requires onsite support at our office in Fairfax, VA.

Key Responsibilities
- Solution Development: Design and articulate innovative, compliant, and competitive technical solutions tailored to customer requirements and aligned with Plateau GRP's capabilities.
- Proposal Support: Collaborate with proposal teams to develop technical volumes, executive summaries, and other proposal sections.
- Capture Integration: Support capture efforts by contributing to win strategies, customer engagement, and solution refinement throughout the capture lifecycle.
- SME Coordination: Lead and facilitate solutioning sessions with SMEs and technical staff to gather input and validate proposed approaches.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure all solutions meet solicitation requirements, evaluation criteria, and internal quality standards.
- Storyboarding & Graphics: Work with proposal writers and graphic designers to translate complex solutions into clear, compelling visuals and narratives.
- Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitor offerings and differentiate Plateau GRP's solutions through innovation and value propositions.
- Knowledge Management: Maintain a repository of reusable solution components, past performance, and technical narratives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in technical solution architecture, proposal development, or technical writing in a government contracting or technical services environment.
- Strong understanding of the federal acquisition process and proposal lifecycle (Shipley or APMP knowledge a plus).
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience with proposal tools (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, proposal automation tools).
Preferred Skills
- Certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, or APMP.
- Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, or cloud-based solutions.
- Familiarity with government contracting vehicles (GSA, IDIQs, GWACs, etc.).
