Description
Plateau GRP is seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Team Lead to oversee the delivery of modern software solutions using the .NET framework and Microsoft Azure cloud technologies. This role requires a strong technical background in .NET/Azure, proven leadership capabilities, and a passion for team development and delivery excellence. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, ensure high standards in code quality and project delivery, and drive strategic initiatives that align with business goals.
This position will require onsite support at our office in Tampa, FL.

Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Guide a development team, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and design principles.
- Project Oversight: Manage all phases of the system development lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through development, testing, and deployment.
- Strategic Delivery: Develop technology roadmaps and execution plans that meet customer and organizational objectives.
- Team Management: Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment by mentoring team members, setting clear goals, and offering regular feedback.
- Quality Control: Champion rigorous testing practices and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and product owners to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: At least 15 years in software development and delivery, with significant leadership experience and deep expertise in .NET and Azure technologies.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in the .NET ecosystem, Azure services, DevOps practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins), and Agile methodologies.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead software teams, manage delivery timelines, and build strong team dynamics.
- Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizenship required due to potential federal government contract work; must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate.
- Strong knowledge of SOLID principles and modern architectural patterns.
- Experience managing globally distributed teams in diverse, multicultural environments.
- Current Secret or Top Secret security clearance is a strong plus.
