Pay Range: Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00

Description
Leidos is seeking a Network Engineer to support mission-critical network operations. You'll be responsible for maintaining network infrastructure, troubleshooting outages, and assisting with security authorizations while contributing to a dynamic team environment at our customer location in Suitland, MD.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and physical patching on unclassified, bi-lateral and multi-lateral environments.
- Monitor and resolve performance issues to ensure optimal network availability.
- Troubleshoot and isolate network outages, providing prompt event notifications.
- Assist with Authorizations To Operate (ATOs) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.
- Diagnose and resolve network performance escalations.
- Support departmental projects with technical expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience or a Master's degree and 2+ years of experience. Additional years of experience, trainings, or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active IAT Level II DoD Approved 8570 Baseline (e.g., Security+ CE) or the ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Active CCNA certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- CISCO configurations using EIGRP, BGP, SNMP, TCP/IP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN, NAT, GRE, IPSEC.
- Data packet capture, traffic analysis, and vulnerability remediation.
- OSI model and multi-protocol routing including VRF, VPN, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, VPLS.
