Foxhole is seeking a mission-focused and technically capable Jr. Network Administrator to support a Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity program. In this role, you'll assist with managing and securing network infrastructure in a classified, high-assurance environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with network hardware, strong troubleshooting skills, and a collaborative mindset, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced team.

Job Description

• Perform daily administration and maintenance of LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve connectivity issues promptly
• Support implementation of network security configurations and policies in alignment with DoD cybersecurity frameworks
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and support remediation efforts using tools such as ACAS
• Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and contribute to Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance
• Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, configuration baselines, and asset inventories
• Assist in incident response activities by collecting and analyzing network data
• Work closely with senior network engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and systems teams on RMF-aligned initiatives
• Participate in formal change management processes for planned network updates and implementations

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance with Eligibility for TS
• Must have a current DoD 8140 (8570) IAT Level II approved certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+ CE)
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience with netow ork administration or IT support within a DoD or enterprise IT environment
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, subnetting, and VLANs
• Familiarity with common network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls
• Awareness of DoD cybersecurity practices, including STIGs and system hardening
• Exposure to network troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, etc.)
• Strong desire to learn and grow in a mission-oriented technical environment
• Good documentation habits, attention to detail, and communication skills

Desired Experience/Certifications

• Network+ Certification highly desirable
